BIG4 Riverside Swan Hill

A great caravan park in the best location close to town and pioneer settlement right on the Murray. The playground and the skate park were very convenient. The pool was lovely although sometimes may have been a bit warm for a refreshing swim! My son spent so much time on the pump track. The only negative if you can call it one is on the outer sites close to the road the walk to the toilet at night was a little far as there is no walkways/paths between the sites going to the back row. Can't wait to come back again.

Location was great, the only thing that brought my score down was the proximity to the train line. Trains run from 5am until midnight. The last train sits next to the park for up to 2 hours with the engine running waiting for the line to clear Melbourne bound. This wasn't great with kids in a tent. The facilities are fantastic, clean showers, amazing hot water. Great camp kitchen too. Overall lovely spot to stay

Lovely place, clean toilets( although one is much newer than other),fantastic pool area, dog friendy, close to town, and plenty of activities for kids in park and close by. Only down side is the toilets are pretty far from riverside sites, the layout seems a bit out balance between cabins, camp sites, and amenities locations, possibly because of flood risk.

The BIG4 caravan park is one of the best I've ever seen. The staff are kind and I've had no problems with them. It's just a 5-minute walk from the Pioneer Settlement and The Heart Beat of the Murray, and conveniently located near shopping centers. The park has a heated/cooled pool with seating and shelter for when it gets too hot. There's also a sheltered dining area with BBQs that can accommodate large groups. The cabins are spacious with four rooms - a dining/kitchen area, a bathroom, a master bedroom, and a secondary bedroom. They have enough beds to accommodate six people, with four people on bunks and two in a queen-sized double bed. The cabins also have a porch with a small BBQ connected. The only problem I had with them, were the interior walls were paper thin, but you are sperated from other cabins al it isn't a huge problem, unless you have noisy neighbours. I believe that this is the best option for your stay.

Extremely Disappointing Experience I recently visited Big4 Swan Hill with my family, and I must say it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The numerous issues we encountered made our visit far from enjoyable. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the pool area left much to be desired. It was evident that proper maintenance was lacking, and the pool did not meet the basic hygiene standards one would expect. This not only affected our enjoyment but also raised concerns about the overall safety of the facility. Furthermore, the absence of well-maintained roads/asphalt for kids to ride their scooters on was a major letdown. This omission made it challenging for children to engage in activities that are typically encouraged in family-friendly environments. The staff's behavior was another significant concern. Rude and unprofessional staff members tarnished our experience. Their attitude was not only unwelcoming but also unacceptable in a service-oriented environment. The state of the barbeque and restroom facilities was equally disappointing. Both were unclean and far from sanitary, creating an uncomfortable and unsanitary environment for visitors. This was especially disheartening as these are fundamental amenities that should be well-maintained for the convenience and safety of all guests. Adding to our safety concerns, there appeared to be no speed limit enforced, particularly for staff members driving electric cars. This lack of regulation not only posed a potential danger to children but also highlighted a disregard for the safety of patrons. In conclusion, my family's experience at Big4 Swan Hill was marred by numerous issues that detracted from what should have been an enjoyable outing. I hope that these concerns are addressed promptly to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and overall satisfaction of future visitors.
